Our road to World Cup final glory...

Watch the highlights from every game of our journey to winning the World Cup

England v South Africa - The Oval - England win by 104 runs

Ben Stokes put in a stunning all-round performance in England's opening World Cup match to lead them to victory over South Africa at The Oval.

Stokes stole the headlines hitting 80, taking two wickets and also one of the greatest catches of all time!

England v Pakistan - Trent Bridge - Pakistan win by 14 runs

England and Pakistan played out a thriller in their second match of the tournament, but it wasn't the hosts who came out on top.

Pakistan posted a formidable 348/8, but despite hundreds from Joe Root and Jos Buttler England couldn't get over the line.

England v Bangladesh - Sophia Gardens - England win by 106 runs

Jason Roy hammered a stunning 153 to help England bounce back from defeat to Pakistan to defeat Bangladesh in Cardiff.

Roy's 153 alongside a half-centuries from Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler saw England post 380 before Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes shared six wickets.

England v West Indies - Hampshire Bowl - England win by 8 wickets

Joe Root struck his second century of the World Cup to lead England to an emphatic victory over the West Indies in Southampton.

Earlier Jofra Archer and Mark Wood had shared six wickets to help dismiss the West Indies for just 212.

England v Afghanistan - Old Trafford - England win by 150 runs

Eoin Morgan hit one of the greatest ODI innings of all-time for England as he hammered a world-record 17 sixes in his score of 148.

The England captain allayed injury fears with a destructive show to hammer the Afghan attack to all parts as England posted 397-6.

Adil Rashid (3-66) Jofra Archer (3-52) and Mark Wood (2-40) were the pick of the bowlers as England secured a comfortable win.

England v Sri Lanka - Headingley - Sri Lanka win by 20 runs

A strong bowling display to restrict Sri Lanka to 232/9 from their 50 overs looked to have set England up for victory in Leeds.

However despite half centuries from Joe Root and Ben Stokes an inspired spell from Lasith Malinga led Sri Lanka to victory as England were dismissed for 212.

England v Australia - Lord's - Australia win by 60 runs

It was to be back-to-back defeats for England as they were undone by Australia at Lord's, falling short by 60 runs in their chase.

Aaron Finch's century guided Australia to 285/7 and the early wickets of James Vince, Joe Root and Eoin Morgan in reply made for a tough chase.

Ben Stokes again performed with the bat but his battling 89 wasn't enough to see England to victory

England v India - Edgbaston - England win by 31 runs

In an almost must-win match England put in a strong performance against India to keep their chase for a semi-final spot alive.

Winning the toss and batting first they hit their way to 337/7 with a century from Jonny Bairstow and fifties from Jason Roy and Ben Stokes.

With the ball the returning Liam Plunkett removed Virat Kohli on his way to taking 3/55 and steering England to victory.

England v New Zealand - Chester-Le-Street - England win by 119 runs

With a win guaranteed to secure England's passage to the semi-finals, tensions and nerves were running high in Chester-Le-Street.

These nerves though were quickly settled and Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow smashed their 10th ODI century partnership as England set New Zealand 306 to win.

The bowlers again put in a solid group performance just as they had against India, with hometown boys Mark Wood (3/34) and Liam Plunkett (1/28) helping England to a comfortable victory.

England v Australia - Edgbaston - England win by 8 wickets

England put in a dominant performance against Australia to book their place in the ICC Cricket World Cup final.

Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid starred with the ball to bowl Australia out for just 223.

Another century stand from Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow set England on their way before Eoin Morgan and Joe Root saw the team over the line.

England v New Zealand - Lord's - England win after Super Over

This match goes down as one of the best of all-time.

When you didn't think a tie in the match could be topped for drama the following Super Over was also tied with England winning on boundary count. Sublime.
