Somerset Stay Top
Somerset bounced back well from defeat to Essex, running out winners against Hampshire by 313 runs. Leach and Overton starred with the ball as Hildreth scored a first-innings hundred. Somerset stay top by 15 points.

Ten For Sanderson
Ben Sanderson claimed career-best match figures of 10/55 as Northants beat Sussex by 393 runs. Sanderson now has 29 wickets at 22.9. It's a big win that cuts the gap to Sussex in third down to 17 with a game-in-hand.

Labuschagne First To Reach 1000
Marnus Labuschagne became the first player from either division to pass 1,000 Championship runs in 2019. He did so in some style, reaching three figures in both innings. He now has 1,057 runs at 70.5 with 5 hundreds.
