Jason Roy hits rapid fifty
Is there anyone who can hit the ball quite as hard as Jason Roy? He got Surrey off to a flying start, belting the ball deep into the Kia Oval crowd. Sixty-four runs and from 35 balls later and he was out, but not after providing the platform for his team to secure victory.

Glam rock Surrey
It wasn't all Surrey's way though. Despite the blistering start, Glamorgan fought back hard through Marnus Labuschagne's spin bowling, first removing Roy, before also accounting for Jamie Overton, to leave the hosts 101/4 just after the halfway stage.

Evans and Smith stand up
Surrey felt a little wobble of unease upon Overton's dismissal, but thanks to the combined efforts of Laurie Evans (39) and youngster Jamie Smith (35*) they romped home with 10 balls to go, Smith in particular providing a cool head in the final moments.
