England Lions and England Women’s A will both tour Australia this winter, in support of the senior England Men’s and England Women’s sides respectively.
The Vodafone Men’s Ashes begins at Brisbane on December 8, and from December 9-12 the England Lions will play Australia A in a four-day match from at the nearby Ian Healy Oval.
For the first time ever, England Women’s A team will tour Australia alongside the senior team and take on Australia Women’s A team in both 50-over and T20 cricket. The series will run concurrently with the CommBank Ashes series.
Further tour matches may be added to the schedule. Cricket Australia will share details of the annual Prime Minister’s XI and Governor-General’s XI matches in due course.
