While it might not have been the best day at the office for Northern Superchargers Women and Men, fans watching on Sky Sports were treated to a healthy dose of helmet cam footage.
Adorning the headgear of Laura Wolvaardt of Northern Superchargers and Southern Brave's match-winner Sophia Dunkley, we got to see some pulse-raising action from the point of view of the players themselves, thanks to the awesome technology.
Wolvaardt was top scorer for her team, bagging 21 runs, including this four.
She then watched from the other end, and dished out a fist-bump, as Alice Davidson-Richards sent one to the boundary.
Then it was the turn of Southern to bat and things didn't start well – Smriti Mandhana was run out on the 13th ball and you can feel the panic as Dunkley sprints to the opposite end.
On her way to 50 not out, Dunkley clearly enjoyed hitting this tidy six.
Colin de Grandhomme was called into action in the men's game as Southern chased Northern's total of 128. While we are fans of helmet cam, it seems to make Sky Sports' Nasser Hussain queasy if you listen here while Grandhomme gets settled.
The New Zealand international was straight into the action…
…and then straight out.
