Josh Price and James Dixon lead England to big win in fourth Vitality Mixed Disability IT20

Callum Flynn's team now 3-1 up with three games to come.

England Men's Mixed Disability 172-4 beat India Men's Mixed Disability 99-9 by 73 runs.

England Men's Mixed Disability team went 3-1 up in their seven-match series against India, bouncing back from defeat at Lord's to win by 73 runs at Worcester courtesy of stand-out performances from Josh Price and James Dixon.

Opening the batting, Price's innings was measured throughout with acceleration late on to take his team to 172-4. Dixon, on debut for the England Men's Mixed Disability team, came on first change and could scarcely have dreamt of a better day - ending up with figures of 4-1-11-5.

Price and Dixon add their names to a long list of England players who've put in match-defining performances across this series so far - captain Callum Flynn, Dan Bowser, Liam O'Brien and Angus Brown have each had a day out at different points - which indicates a fearsome strength in depth for Flynn's team.

It's a strength in depth that was very much on show today, with 172-4 always seeming too steep for India to chase, and while England weren't quite able to bowl their opponents out - despite reducing them to 32-7 at the half-way mark - they'll look back on a job well done as they extend their lead in the series.

The teams will reconvene at Visit Worcestershire New Road on Sunday for the fifth IT20 of the series, with England now one win away from clinching the series.

Josh Price said: "I was really happy to be able to score runs today for the team. We knew we had to bounce back after Lord's and I think today was a better account of what we can do.

"It's been so good to see players from each impairment impact the game and put in positive performances.

"Today it was great to see Jimmy perform so well with the ball, on debut for the team. We've had a few different players step up at different moments across this series and that's been really pleasing."
