Tell us your views! ECB launches survey to shape women’s recreational league cricket

Can you help design a structure that works for everyone? You could even win two tickets to an ICC Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final.

Cricket for women and girls is growing at an unprecedented rate.

The number of women’s and girls’ teams has doubled in the last three years, reflecting a surge of interest, participation and investment in the game. But with that rapid growth comes a new challenge: ensuring the best possible experience for everyone involved.

The ECB is actively exploring how women’s recreational league cricket could evolve in the coming years – and we’re keen to hear your input, whether you’re a player, captain, coach, official, or administrator. You can complete the survey here.

This new survey will help us understand what already works well, where improvements could be made, and what support is needed as participation continues to rise. It’s your chance to play a direct role in the long-term success of women’s recreational cricket across England and Wales.

Survey participants will be entered into a draw to win two tickets to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup semi-final at The Oval on 30 June 2026. So, please, take a moment to tell us your views and let’s build an even better future for women’s cricket.
