Cricket found me at the age of five, through watching Somerset play with my Nan and Grandad. I didn't understand much back then, but I understood how it made me feel - the belonging, the buzz, the joy of throwing my arms up for a six.
When I wanted to move from the stands to the pitch at school, I was told it was a boys' sport. That moment never left me - and it became the fuel behind everything I do today.
I have spent the last eight years working in cricket development, starting as a Development Officer at Devon Cricket and now working as a Wicketz Programme Manager at Lord’s Taverners.
With a specialist focus on women and girls, I lead programme delivery across all our programmes, providing free, accessible girl-led opportunities for those from socio‑economically disadvantaged backgrounds and living with a disability; breaking down barriers and building a game that truly belongs to everyone.
