Major match tickets refund scheme

Headingley update

The England and Wales Cricket Board has conditionally lifted the suspension on Yorkshire County Cricket Club from hosting international and major matches at Headingley.

If you have a ticket(s) for an international match at Headingley this summer those tickets are valid and you do not need to do anything.

The ECB Board has acknowledged the hard work and good progress made by YCCC, although the lifting of the suspension is conditional on further requirements to be implemented by 31 March 2022.

Those conditions are:

  • Resolving the issues relating to rules changes and decisions at the club which have been subject to procedural flaws.
  • Amendments to club rules relating to the appointment and operation of the Board, including removal of Graves Trust powers.

2022 Men's Major Match tickets refund scheme 

Refund scheme – LV= Insurance Test Matches 

For days 1 to 4 of the Test Match:  If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 15 overs played - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by the host venue to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to the host venue within 28 days of the Match date.  Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed. This refund policy does not apply to day 5 of Test Matches. 

Refund scheme - Royal London Internationals   

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 15 overs played and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by the host venue to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to the host venue within 28 days of the Match date.  Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed. 

Refund scheme - Vitality IT20s  

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 10 overs are played and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 10.1 overs to 20 overs are played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by the host venue to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to the host venue within 28 days of the Match date.  Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed. 

Refund scheme - Vitality Blast Finals Day 

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of the match ticket value only subject to the below: (a) non admittance of spectators - a full refund; (b) if the second semi-final does not achieve a result - a full 100%; (b) if both semi-final matches do achieve a result but (i) there are zero to 10 overs played of the T20 Final (the last scheduled match of the day) AND (ii) no result is obtained in the T20 Final - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  

In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by the host venue to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to the host venue within 28 days of the Match date.  Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed. 

2022 Women's Major Match tickets refund scheme
