The Hundred 2026 in numbers

Managing Director of The Hundred, Vikram Banerjee said: "Our mission when we launched The Hundred in 2021 was to throw cricket's doors open to everyone and we're doing just that – in stands, on television and online. We’re absolutely delighted with the help of the new team owners to be able to continue to grow the competition.

“I’ve been at almost every game this season and there’s been so much to enjoy. The players are watching all of the other games, which is not always the case in a franchise tournament, and they all talk about how much they love The Hundred.

“The cricket itself is unbelievable. We’ve had nearly 600 sixes, and when you factor in the fact there’s 14 bowlers bowling over 88mph in the men’s competition that’s no mean feat. There have been plenty of highlights: Tim David’s catch, SunRisers Leeds’ 450-run game, Phoebe Litchfield’s brilliance, Dewald Brevis’s no-look sixes, Overton v Overton!

“The Hundred is fast becoming the unmissable event of the summer. I’ve loved seeing families in their team kit travelling to and from games. I think if you’re at these games, watching this cricket, and seeing these crowds, it’s hard not to be impressed and excited and I’m already looking forward to next year.”
