For the first time, members of the public can choose from a shortlist to vote for their “Cricket Collective Champion” - an individual who has played a vital role this season in making recreational cricket happen, supporting and championing the volunteers who bring it to life.

This new public vote is designed to spotlight those who go above and beyond, often quietly and without recognition, yet whose impact is felt week in, week out. It’s a simple way for the wider cricket community to champion their efforts on a national stage.
About The Cricket Collective Awards
The Cricket Collective Awards take place annually and celebrate the volunteers, young leaders, clubs and community groups who keep recreational cricket running. These awards focus on practical, hands‑on contribution - coaching, scoring, groundskeeping, club development, community outreach and the countless unseen roles that make cricket possible.
Since the end of the summer, Recreational Cricket Boards have been nominating regional winners across 12 categories. Those regional winners now progress to the national awards, with a panel of experts selecting the national winners over the coming weeks. The new public vote sits alongside this process, giving the cricket community a direct way to recognise exceptional contributions from across their clubs and communities.
Winners will be publicly announced in early February 2027 and celebrated at an awards ceremony in the Long Room at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
