Livingstone declared fit for New Zealand Tests
Lancashire batsman has recovered from an injury to his left ankle
Lancashire batsman
Liam Livingstone has been passed fit and will travel with the rest of the touring party this week for
England's two-Test tour of New Zealand.
Livingstone suffered an injury to his left ankle last month on England Lions duty training ahead of the final four-day match against West Indies A in Antigua.
The 24-year-old, uncapped at Test level, trained with England senior players Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad on grass pitches inside the marquee at Edgbaston yesterday and came through a rigourous net session without any concerns.
He is due to arrive, along with the other Test specialists, into Hamilton on 9 March to start preparations ahead of the first Test against the Black Caps at Auckland’s Eden Park starting on 22 March.
