Despite being 42, Marcus Trescothick is still seeing the ball pretty well. He hit a glorious 95 for Somerset against Essex with some vintage Trescothick shots.

ARE YOU JIMMY IN DISGUISE?

You could be forgiven for thinking Warwickshire's Chris Wright had turned into James Anderson with some of the deliveries he was producing. He took a couple of wickets that were virtually unplayable.

SUNDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

Division One leaders Surrey are hosting Lancashire under the lights at the Kia Oval this week. The game is nicely poised after Surrey were dismissed for 210 but have taken a few early Lancashire wickets.

BEARS BUOYANT

Warwickshire have their sights firmly set on promotion and a dominant first day has put them in a perfect position to beat Gloucestershire. They already have a lead of 42 with 8 first innings wickets in hand and Will Rhodes not out on 101.
