TIED THRILLER AT TAUNTON
Lancashire began Day Two 86 runs behind with only 8 second innings wickets in hand. What was about to occur is incredible. Lancashire managed to get ahead but could only post a lead off 77 thanks to 51 from Steven Croft and 39 from Liam Livingstone. With 78 required to win Somerset started horribly. They were 23/5 before they managed to recover slightly. They eventually got level with Lancs and had two wickets in hand. Dom Bess and Jack Leach then threw their wickets away and the match finished as a TIE! Keshav Maharaj claimed 7/37 to be the hero for Lancashire.

COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
Somerset's 77 all out was the second lowest fourth innings total to tie a game in County Championship history and only the 24th tie in Championship history. The last tie came in 2003 between Warwickshire and Essex.
There have been 66 ties in 58 795 first-class matches. So, it has occurred once every 890 matches.

LEFT-ARM LEGENDS
It was a pair of slow left-arm bowlers that did the damage for both teams in Taunton. Jack Leach claimed career-best figures of 12/102 for Somerset before Keshav Maharaj spun Lancashire to a tie with match figures of 11/102.
PIC OF THE DAY
Look away now Somerset fans! The scoreboard says it all. 10 wickets shared between Onions & Maharaj as Somerset collapse to 77 all out. A quite extraordinary game of cricket.
