Grassroots and the elite game go hand in hand. Every county and England player starts out on a local pitch.

In turn, as the highest profile ambassadors for the sport, elite teams and players have a unique platform to set the standard that engages and inspires both on and off the field.

We will do more to connect these heroes from our Men’s, Women's and Disability sides to young fans who themselves will be the stars of tomorrow.

We will increase investment in the county talent pathway with counties rewarded for more England-qualified players in domestic competitions.

Technology and innovation – further powered by a new partnership with Microsoft – will drive our performance system, enhancing player development and improving selection decision-making.
