2026 Fixed Penalty Directive Breaches

Penalties remain on player records for a period of two years. The accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.

Level 1

The umpires reported Dan Hughes’ conduct during Sussex CCC’s Rothesay County Championship Match against Leicestershire CCC on 11 May 2026. The matter was considered by the Match referee, Peter Such, who determined that the offence was at Level 1 of the ECB Professional Conduct Regulations: 1(c) Showing dissent at an umpire’s decision by word or action.

The umpires reported Adam Lyth’s conduct during Yorkshire CCC’s Rothesay County Championship Match against Warwickshire CCC on 10 May 2026. The matter was considered by the Match referee, Steve Davis, who determined that the offence was at Level 1 of the ECB Professional Conduct Regulations: 1(c) Showing dissent at an umpire’s decision by word or action.
